Cannon Estate Winery
Abbotsford, BC
Building restrictions ruled out a permanent enclosure, but the client needed year-round patio service without losing the open-air character guests come for in summer. Motorized shades with clear vinyl panels provided complete wind and rain protection in winter and retracted entirely when the weather allowed. A site restriction became a flexible, year-round solution.

An exposed restaurant patio with panoramic course views and no available building attachment points. Traditional awning systems were structurally incompatible. Large-format cantilever umbrellas delivered full table coverage from a single base. Sightlines were preserved entirely and no building works were required.
